Built-in real-time precision video converter, PAL/50Hz auto conversion to American NTSC/60Hz and up conversion to 1080p HD. This player uses an industry-leading microchip set (MT8563) with plenty of power and memory to support accurate conversion of ultra-fast action scenes from foreign DVDs. Other region-free DVD players that are not designed to play blu-ray discs usually employ less-capable microchip sets resulting in conversion artifacts such as ultra-fast motion blur.

This Professionally Enhanced Player Will Play Regular or Standard DVD's From Any Country or Region 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and Play Region/Zone B (Europe, Greenland, Africa, Middle East, Australia, New Zealand) & 0 (or ABC) Blu-ray Discs. Plays region-UNCODED (0 or ABC) from any country incl 50Hz Blu-ray (such as 1080i UK BBC Earth series) with auto PAL/NTSC conversion to American 60Hz.
Unit has HDMI output for HDTV.
NO old RCA yellow video output or Left/Right analog audio outputs for older TVs.

Player has Ethernet port to support Wired internet streaming including Netflix, Vudu, Youtube, PandoraHulu Plus® and Amazon Instant Video® etc (under Main Menu/Premium).
Unit has light green LED light in front as on/off power indicator but time/track info is displayed on TV screen only. Including player, 100~240V world-wide AC voltage power adapter with standard USA AC plug, HDMI cord,
remote control, user manual CD. Loaded w/ latest software. If you need a second remote for some reason, you may buy one on ebay as any LG Blu-ray remote would work.
NOTE: This is NOT a 4K UHD player (if you don't know what 4K UHD means, you probably don't have those.)

TVs without an HDMI connector: If you need RCA yellow video output or S-Video output and RCA Left/Right audio outputs for an older TV or projector without HDMI, we sell a separate high-quality and compatible external converter with those outputs (please contact us for more details).
