    Description

    This is a mint margin block of four of the 0,30 French stamp commemorating the opening of the Mont Blanc tunnel connecting France and Italy.  The first day cancel from Chamonix is completely in the margin selvege, as shown in the scans.  It is mounted on simple paper.
